Mix tapes rock

No really they do!, mix tapes are the hottest accessories right now, in a world of ipods and mp3's. Mix tapes are making a comeback in the fashion world, a bit of nostalgia for the old way of mixing up your fav tunes.

Mixing up prints

I like the way they have put a pink print onto a stripe background. It is a lot like what we want to do with phat! clothing, appliqué printed fabrics onto existing garments. Although we don't want to put an image smack bang in the middle, we like to be a little more creative in our placement of motifs.

Today Inspiration

Ive decided that since we arent starting the actual label until later in the year that I would use this blog to collect inspiration, so I can go back to it later.
Today I found this, it is just a promotional banner, but i like the idea of using keyboard keys.
maybe a print with 'phat clothing' in key letters would be cool, or some other random nerdy thing like that. Any ideas are welcome, just add a comment.
